Posted these on the Armoured Vehicles thread (Nashorn Build), but was suggested I add them here as well for critique. Would love any thoughts on improvements. Commander and Loader 1 for starters.

Sorry Jack, missed these. They look great - very dirty and grimy.

Hi Jack
Nice work. Like the whitewash on the helmets especially. White is hard, so good work on these.. you have asked for critique, so the only thing I would say is that redoing the highlights after the wash might push the contrast and 3D effect a little further. Only use dilute colour though, full strength white paint might lead to harsh lines that will be hard to disguise.....nice to see dirty working figures though, if they are too clean it detracts from the realism of the scene...

Thank you Peter.

Thanks Tim, these ones have been highlighted again post wash...do you think it needs a bit more?

1/35 101st Airborne tank riders. Pretty pleased with the faces and insignia on these, but would love thoughts. Looks a bit shiny under lights, hopefully a matt varnish will help there. 1D2FA665-094C-4BFC-844C-8EC4C6605270.jpegEA969311-8913-4316-8862-9D385BB20150.jpeg904F20C0-5776-46CC-BF65-6DC930BCD1DE.jpegDA9DC807-6471-4733-BF86-0F9C89B0AA63.jpeg001F7EC6-276E-46EE-855F-AABBCF47FC58.jpeg

Jack , hi .
Just working my way around the parish.
Those figs look OK to me, most of us struggle with them.
Have a look at Peters work, he is superb with figures.
He and Tim have mentioned highlighting, and shadows to bring depth in the past . Washes too, a dark on will go into the creases and give depth.
Keep going, that's the only way .:thumb2:
John.
