Great progress mark , lovely cockpit . Personally I would use the later Martin Baker seat as most european starfighters ended up being fitted with variants of these, plus the early Lockheed ( licensed from Stanley ) C2 had the messy arm restraint belts which the kit hasnt supplied . Cheers tony

Hi Mark
Instrument panel does look good. I can see why you're pleased with the seats :thumb2: Nice to see how well the fuselage halves have gone together.

Base colour on, next is start masking for the first lot of camo.20211023_183020.jpghad already painted wheel bays but will do again as it's easier to paint them after everything else rather than trying to mask them.
It doesn't look like it but there is a lot of nice surface detail, can't see it in my rubbish pictures :rolling:

The moment of truth was pulling the tape off,the paint stayed on as did all the bits of plastic !! Result ! but the green is on and as this is my third ever camo attempt I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out, a few details to paint then a light gloss for decals. On to painting the canopy and wheel flaps next.20211025_235555.jpg20211025_235509.jpg20211025_235003.jpg20211025_234911.jpg

Wow that tape really worked Mark, looks very clean.
Always nice to read that a kit is good and things are right, to many times we read of poor instructions, design and manufacturing.

Thanks John, yes it's a lovely kit to build, paint instructions could be a little better but that's the only negative point.

Looks very good, the camo is nice and sharp and straight, so very well done for your third ever attempt at camouflage :smiling3:
