Hi Mark
Great looking camo. Always stressful when masking is removed. Wonderful feeling when it works as well as this.

OK so this wasnt something I was planning to do although painting decals does look better if you can pull it off, couldn't get the decals on the engine intakes to go down without creasing so I gave up decided to paint them, not something I've done before so I've got my fingers crossed! So far I've got this!20211101_210040.jpg20211101_210014.jpg
And need to get to this!

Hi Mark
As you say painted markings do look better than decals. I am certain you'll be successful. Just take time and care with the masking and plan well.

Not perfect but time I've done the orange and a little touching up then done a matt coat I'll be able to live with it ,some weathering to dirty them up a bit. That's my first go and know how I can improve the next time so it's all good.20211103_220507.jpg20211103_220428.jpg

That’s not looking bad at all. A little touching up of the white and it’ll be fine.

No complaints from me Mark. A little bit of bleed as you say but considering it was your first attempt, very well done.

Mark,
First class build and paint. As you say a bit of touching up to clean up the bleed under.
We used to watch and photograph 104's at Alconbury in the days before protesters and field invasions, just sitting on a three bar fence waiting for the next surprise to arrive.
Mike.
