This is my first rally car, and arguably one of the sexiest ever designed!

I attempted to recreate it in action as depicted in photo’s of the 1977 Monte Carlo Rally.

I hope you approve.

Lovely job Gavin, great detail and have to admit a stunning rally car.

It may be the pictures but the dirt and muck look too black to me, almost a smoke on the rear end. Maybe some lighter tones will help, again it could just be my eyes, the monitor and how the lighting in the pictures shows it off.

Hi Si, thanks for the critique!
In hind sight some of it did come up a little too dark, but in general I was quite pleased with the overall effect.
The flash does not help, I need to make a light box for photography.

Don't get me wrong, the effect looks superb, really does look muck splattered. As you say, probably just the lighting, couple with my knackered eyes, making it look dark to me.
