With time running out I still want to contribute to the GB. So I dug deep in the Drennen vintage vault and came up with this old gem. I’m still going to try the camo on this. BFB5E0F4-FB42-4D4A-A582-2737C4B37378.jpegB0F3BDA9-1516-420B-8BDF-90FA87D2B69B.jpeg

Hi Rick
Another geriatric kit. I think this started life in the mid 70s. Younger than the Monogram kit but still rather old! Not a lot to it. Will any of the after market stuff you bought for the Monogram kit work for this?

Jim. This is 1/72 and the Monogram was 1/48. I’ve ordered some Aftermarket decals for it should be here before the time expires. I just can’t help building these old kits I know there much simplified than today’s standards but I still think they have a place on my shelf

John. Thanks for stopping by. Yes Yorkshire tea.

Rick. Thanks for stopping by. Just for you I will offer Tetley’s make sure John is screened before he is seat word has it he’s been dabbling again with pyrotechnics. Thanks

Hi Lee
Forgot the scale difference :rolling:
Old kits still have their place on our benches. I've just build that Monogram Packard from 1975 - not up to modern stuff but quite fun.

Silver plastic - brilliant. Now all you need is some really smelly glue to go with it, and that would take me back 40 years. Hell, 40 years !

Well guys, when you think about it, that is a pretty accurate model, being as how the real thing is made of nice shiny silver colored Aluminum.......yes, a good coat of zinc chromate will take care of all that brightness......put your shades on
