Looks damned good Lee. Details make it pop, like in the first photo where there is wear in the road in front of the yellow and black car, and the roads next to the track, esp in photo 7. What a great photo, that could well be real.

John thanks my friend. I never thought I could get a plain piece of black rubber to look like that. Some of the weathering was done with ashes from our fire place one very cold winter to calm the black down. The gravel road is sand I gathered several years ago at my oldest Daughters softball game after they won the tournament. So every time I look at my layout there’s been a special moment that happened in my life.

Nice! I knew a guy back in High School that had a "Stude" like that......he stuffed a 389 c.i. Pontiac with Tri-power into it and could not keep it in a straight line under acceleration.....the thing was just insane! :tongue-out3: :tongue-out2::tongue-out: Rick H.

Lee, this just gets better with each set of photos. Love the Union round ended trailers and the wood work on the estate cars. How many cars and trucks are there please, and could we have a photos of them ?

Just had a catch up Lee. Must say it’s looking great. It might be perverse of me, but I think I enjoy the old cars and trucks more than the trains. The whole layout is a fantastic way to show off your collection.
