Paul, any chance you could include 1/87 scale? Then PaulE would be able to join in should he wish to......

Cheers.

DMTBAA, but what do you call 1/285, 1/144, 1/100, 1/90, & 1/87? Technically, Missing-Lynx is just a forum like this one.

This seems to me just a little bit pendantic, personally I would never use wikipedia as a reference, when I staered modeling in the 70's everything under 1/35 was referred to as braille scale in the after school clubs I attended.

I thought it just referred to things that were so small you couldn’t see them, so they were built by feel....hence “Braille”....

Let's not get going on the scale issue or the definition of 'Braille Scale'. This is about getting members to join in this G.B.

Paul has made his G.B rules as 1/72 - 1/76....So models in those two scales it is.

Sorry Paul our posts crossed. I was hoping my post might stop it any potential arguing.

We will close the thread if you wish but I find it it sad when the G.B. suggestions have only been going a few days and already we see a bit of friction.

What do you want us to do? Hurry up as I want my cocoa and get to bed......:thumb2:

I have a couple of 1/76 French Beutepanzers in the stash so I’m in....wasn’t trying to cause friction either...

Paul - Re-reading the thread it looks like I'm the 'Villain of the piece.' for initially asking for the possible inclusion of 1/87. For that I apologize. Rules is Rules.

I would like you to re-consider your decision.

As mentioned in the post Every thing you need to know.....
"Do not try to bend the rules laid by the OP to fit your own agenda.
Paul wrote 1/72 - 1/76 so that is what it is. It's not like it is a hard scale to find subjects in. If you are interested in joining just say so and add your name. If you are not, move along to another post.
If you really want to build a micro scale maybe you should post the suggestion.

Sorry Paul, I will not close the thread as I think it a good idea (but I have put my KUTR boots on. nit pickers be aware).
