Hi I needed a change from what I normally build so I'm going for modern a Abraham's M1A1 .
I've never built anything this modern before and most of it will be out of the box.
Box art.

Pete,
I will follow along mate if that's ok.
Paul you are always welcome you never have to ask . I know one thing it's much bigger than the things I normally build the turret alone is bigger than a Toon tank :smiling5: is it nearly has as many wheels as a Tiger:sad:.

Nice, quick progress Pete.

My Abrams is on page 6 Completed Dioramas. Here's the link. https/www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/destroyed-abrams-tank-samarra-iraq-2007.30275/ Turns out mine was a Trumpeter kit.... They look all the same to me.

I hope you find the pictures useful when you come to do your own 'Rubbling'!

Now come along Pete, you know Matron won't let you stay up longer than 453 Race!!!!!

Looks o.k. so far, I also built one many years ago - with a mine plow !! The Abrams was the easy part,
mine plow - gave up after the third attempt !!!! :flushed:

Paul.

Cheers Ron if I get my tank is half as good as yours I'll be happy but if I don't you could have it for extra rubble.

Hi Paul 453 is on that ward with 24-hours supervision so I don't think matron will be coming round tonight.

Hi Mike so you're in the posh seats have to be half a crown then, you can put that notebook away for a start I don't think you're going to learn much from this :smiling5:.
The work I've done up to now isn't that bad if you shut your eyes really tight and turn the lights off .

I have a question to all the clever ones out there concerning the colour of the glass used in the look out windows, some photes show it as blue, red, orange and some have a mixture of all three what is the right one please.

Thank you for looking in.

Pete.

I just followed the box art on my Abrams - Blue.

Simply because I liked the colour, and that, my good fellow is about all I can offer. Useless really.....
