Good afternoon chaps

Finally finished the Tamiya Marder M, added some more mud and weathering but thought I had better stop before it vanishes lol

I am happy but not delighted as I am still making silly mistakes such as going to fast and missing some sections on the plans

Also forgetting to paint all the parts at the same time, such as the track brackets, D'oh and the rubbed metal on the wheels looks a bit bright to me?? What would be the right colour to use, polished metal?????

Really enjoyed using the pigments and tried some new techniques such as speckling.,

Well here goes, hope it passes muster?

Hi Bob
Great finish on this. For wheel and track wear I always use an hb lead pencil. Works well for all metal bits really. Yours looks the part though, so no need to try it on this model.

Bob,
That's a dam fine result Sir. Looks the part. I do what Tim suggested and just use a soft lead pencil it gives it the polished metal effect without being to shiny. But to say again that is a great result.

Not sure about that Peter, still making basic misstakes, but very kind of you to say so.

Being on long term stick so able to watch YT and very good too sure has helped and not least the advice from Steve Jones
