Cheers Gerry yeah it certainly is well endowed.Nice work on that. mind you, that gun looks huge!
Thanks Tim getting there. That’s looking splendid Mark. The detail right out of the box is superb and you are making a bang up job of it……and so quickly too!
Hi Mark
Glad you're enjoying this - that's what it's all about really. You should be very happy with progress so far. A neat build.
Jim
Thanks guys yep it is great kit to build,a few fiddly bits but it wouldn't be any fun without a bit of challenge somewhere! Definitely adding a few more zvezda's to the stash.Tamiya primer is very similar to the old car cellulose primer that used to be available from Halfords etc. As that was formulated to stick to cars, which were made mostly of sheet metal, it is more than adequate for etch metal parts on models John.
This is really looking imposing now she’s in her undies. Fabulous AFV
Thanks Allen yeah it's all busy, busy, busy on the forum right now.Morn Mark,
Sorry, I'm playing ketchup here too!!! This monster is looking mighty fine so far. Nice work all around and that primer is smooth as silk. It doesn't obscure any detail at all. Keep her going Sir...Oh, and check out Zvezda's Mercedes truck kits. A little older and a bit fiddly, but look really good when built. Tires are not 100% correct though.....

Hi Tim, interesting you should say that about the Tamiya primer , because the smell of the Mr Hobby metal primer is cellulose, and when I had some cellulose thinners I used it to clean the brush .
Wow Mark that’s looking Awesome. Keep those updates comingHad a bit more progress, wheels and tracks on and have made a start with replacing the bits I removed earlier with the etch mudflaps I'd guess you could call them. These will be made to look a bit "wobbly " as there rubber before painting. View attachment 446151View attachment 446152View attachment 446153
