In the USA, the sailing ship, Mayflower II has just undergone a restoration costing in excess of 11million USD. The craftsmen involved in this restoration were pleased to use Danish White Oak wood.
Mayflower II was originally built in Brixham, Devon in 1955 and she was gifted to the Americans in 1957. Revell currently have on sale a Mayflower 400th anniversary gift set.
