Most of the exterior armour is now fitted (apart from the reactive stuff), some PE, AC units and rear hatch on, made a start on the side armour. :smiling3:

Oh, and did some more track.

Progress has been slow of late, been too busy to get to the bench. This is where I am up to.

Got the turret and basket weathered, and started putting them together.

You won't see much of the interior that I've spent 3 weeks on once the turret halves are together.

Every time i see an update, makes me want to get mine down from the stash and get on with it. It is a shame that once you have spent all that time building the interior you dont get to see much once everything is in place, but i always take solace from the fact - i know its all their. Maybe the reasoning behind Mengs thinking when they released the M3A3 Bradley cavalry fighting vehicle without an interior, but you could buy it separate if you wanted to.

Cheers Steve, I can't believe how long this build has taken. Definitely going to do something simpler next as this is starting to feel like a grind. I've almost finished the last parts of the build, so at least I can get on with the weathering soon. :smiling3:

So he last week or so I have been working on the exterior turret, building sub assemblies of the various optics and tow launcher, and getting the small parts ready for paint and fitting.

Tomorrow I prime. :DIMG_20170722_172019.jpg IMG_20170722_172706.jpg IMG_20170724_190337.jpg IMG_20170726_202143.jpg IMG_20170726_202159.jpg IMG_20170726_202223.jpg IMG_20170727_191853.jpg IMG_20170726_202329.jpg IMG_20170727_220305.jpg IMG_20170727_191547.jpg

Cheers Tommy, not going to be a lot happening for a few days as I have to paint and wait for it to dry before fitting these parts on.

So today I have mostly been painting. :smiling3:

Everything apart from the tracks is now in its final colour and ready to be fitted. The tracks are in primer.
