Great to see you back at the beach. Work is sadly a necessary evil. I take it you will be building a Bulldog next LOL

Work, come on, what does it take to say "Pick up that bag of spanners and follow me....."
Good to see you back on the bench again doing the important thing in life, until the wife tells you different.
Cheers, Mike.

Morning,

Hadn’t realised quite how long this one had been on the go......and really need to get the bench cleared and ready for up & coming group builds, so been making progress over the last week or so....I think.

The figures where painted, wasn’t happy so stripped them back and had another go. Added various bits of scenic greenery.

Took my little scene outside and took a few pictures this morning and this is where I’m at.....

The bit I like the most is being able to lift the turret to peak inside to see what’s inside

So that’s where we are. Still bits and bobs to twiddle and mess about with...hope to have it all done in the next few weeks.

Thanks for looking in:thumb2:

Apologies guys, I thought I had replied :flushed: thanks very much for kind comments

With October and the Animal antics GB fast approaching, it’s time to make some room at the bench so been gradually making finishing touches the the T60 and the base.
Made up some straps for the ammo bag and rifle, added a light dust, some light chipping and then gave it all a matt coat to take the shine away.

Here’s is the finished (?) article.....

I’ve really enjoyed this one and highly recommend the Miniart T60. Although it is a bit fiddly in places (especially the track clean up) it went together beautifully.
I used an Ammo 4BO modulation set for the colouring in and found it gave a nice result and was easy to use.

Thanks for your continued support folks
All comments welcome
Cheers
Si

Hi John,
Ahhh thanks mate...glad you approve of my ruski scene:smiling4:

The figures held me up as I struggled to find mojo for them. My first attempt went from bad to worse and I had to strip them with oven spray. I really took my time with them and I’m quite pleased with the results.

That book looks interesting. I’ve seen the B&W technique done on a tiger and it looked good

Are you feelin alright Si? Have you had the doctor round to check you out? It really isnt like you to actually finish a build mate :smiling5: :smiling6:

What a stunner it is. All the attention to detail has really made this one stand out from the crowd. A terrific build all round mate. Well done

Couldn’t risk calling out the doctor, he’d have me back under matrons Care in no time:smiling5:

This is one of the few builds that I’ve enjoyed all the way. Even the figures!!

Thanks for looking in mate
