thanks guys for the uplifting comments. i'm glad Its coming to the end of this project I have another one i'm currently eyeballing to start lol. I have just he back left to do and make a base and im calling this one done. maybe one more thin wash but other than that finished. tonight I got the flag and the spec done along with the right sleeve. here are a few new pics.

thank you gents again I am very happy to be back with all you fine modelers. I have finished this tonight and calling It done I make my own bases and usually spackle paint them all the same color. my wife bought me a few months ago a tabletop CNC ROUTER and 5.500 laser. I like making wood products and have been enjoying the laser completely. but tonight I got bored and thought maybe I could work it into my model hobby. so I decided to try to make a base plate. here is the finished aircrew man. and the laser work. I also did one or a German tanker. hope you like.
