Well, here she is. Academy Warrior and what a great kit it is too, it's that good i'm going to get another one and give the bar armour a go after i've seen Andrew's (Boldman) Scimitar. As i was putting the extras on it looked to much so some of it is now in the spares box. I have some rub on letters so i just had to give it a name on one side, needless to say the wife loves it.

Anyway, i'll shut up as the full build can be found here http://www.scale-models.co.uk/july-sept-2012-gb-modern-armour/16074-centurion3rtrs-warrior-mcv.html and you lovely lot can enjoy the photos.

Have fun, John

Fantastic job john , the paint is excellent , a real quality build. Its probably just me, being an armour thicko, but is the blokes face a bit grey ?, is it a scarf or is he feeling a bit hungover!!? cheers tony

Lol Tony, it's a scarf mate (thats hiding the hangover). I was going to do a black and white Arafat but it went a little wrong.

Have fun, John

Very nice, John. I tend to shy away from armour but I may have to branch out now I've seen yours.

Thanks lads, it was a very nice and enjoyable build. Had a tidy up today and found a few more modern stuff, so i may have another go at the GB lol.

Have fun, John

PS, Ron mate, no Boddies got to be a good lad the doc said  But they are on stand by.

Excellent, that will look great with some scratch built bar armour on it (wibble!) Your pre-shading technique was most effective! Top notch stuff!

A great result John. I have been looking at one of these a few times, as it calls to me from the shelf in the shop.

A very nice and tidy build, great paint and the weathering is just right. me like!

Great looking Warrior John, it looks beautifully scruffy.

I'm just getting into armour after years of aircraft and enjoying myself hugely. Can't wait for your next build to inspire me further.

Tony.
