well, finally marking this one as finished because it is doing my head in, in my tiny modelling room.kit is about 43 years old (thanks stona) and the fit off most of the parts was pretty bad as well as the fuselage and wings being twisted so mad e the best i could of it. decals fell to bits as soon as they touched water so i just used a few bits that i had. only just realised that i glossed the whole plane and only the bottom should be gloss, might respray the top with a matt finish at some point.also the seam along the top of the fuselage has slightly cracked as it was so twisted but this happened after it had been virtually finished and i just cant bring myself to fix and repaint the bloody thing. dont know where the hell i am going to put it.

all comments welcomed.

i struggled to build this in my space and i am about to start the revell gato class sub, i must be stupid.

forgot to mention the wing roots are left like that because i have not glued the wings on yet for storage reasons.just a couple of dots of superglue to keep em in place for now.

Looks good.I love building big models as well.I know what you mean about the old Monogram decals as ive built a few of their kits recently that ive had in the loft since the early 90's.Had a lot of trouble with the decals. If you think its big there's a company in Wales called Sanger who do a 1/48 vacform B52.That ones 36 inches long with a 43 inch wing span !!.
