Its the old Airfix 1/32 scale Monty's Humber staff car. The build was quick and easy and the kit went together really well. I have read that its a pig and nowt fits but I had NO trouble at all. I must of been doing it wrong!

I also picked up some Vallejo pigments a while back and sort of went a bit to town on this with them. One thing is for sure, someone is not going to be happy when he sees him car and a driver is going to be spending some time with a bucket and hose!

I well remember this kit and nice to see it built Ian, yea, unlikely that Monty's ride would be allowed to get so mucky but I bet he arrived at destinations with it looking like this but quickly cleaned up. Great job Ian.

Hi Ian

Nice looking staff car although I think the windscreen might need a bit of a wipe! It looks great and a really nice kit (I'm a bit surprised at the quality of this old kit).

Incidentally, if you feel you've gone a bit overboard with pigments in places you can just gently brush it off (so long as you haven't fixed it with the acrylic medium) or wipe it off with a bit of white spirit on a brush.

All the best

Paul
