Peter. Great job on the figs and the streaking effects in the wing.

Lee - the streaking was a combination of airbrush and ground up pastels applied using a 1/4in paintbrush.

bad news - earlier this week I returned to the vignette to see the main undercarriage had snapped. Would you believe it - the undercarriage 'leg post' is about 5mm diammeter! I suppose the wing being so offset and unbalanced that it put too much pressure on the part.

a shame - but I have a cunning plan and the solution arrived in the post this morning - more figures.the idea is to remove the three flight crew and replace the, with ground crew. One of which will be up a step ladder leaning on the wing, in reality he will be supporting the wing! Hopefully that will help support the wing.

Great idea Peter and progressing nicely.

A while ago, someone on here build a 1/48 B-17 (Can't remember who) and did a cut-out to show the internal detail. that looked smart, but this undertaking of yours will be epic!
