You know what this group needs? Another Eduard 1/48 kit, but a PF - so it is different!


PF is probably the oldest version we have (?) I was originally going to make this way back earlier in Vietnamese colours so still going to do that version - 921st Fighter Regiment, Vietnam, late 60's early 70's. The only thing done so far is the front wheel well.

Nice to have another on board. I like to see these lesser known air forces represented. The Mig-21 is a good choice for this because of the variety of operators.

Progress of sorts..


First, my nose cone, filled with washers and panel pins super glued in. Seems quite weighty.


I have done both consoles, the grey one is decals, black is PE, not decided which to use. My instructions use grey not the weird green but as I found my grey was a solid gunk progress is halted until I get some delivered, I decided to buy a few other "urgent" supplies at the same time of course!


Also cockpit floor and the engine, not sure why I painted the interior parts at the far end as they clearly can't be seen.
