Hi all - up until Feburary this year I'd never made a model kit, now I've done 3 and I'm totally hooked so I'm excited to be part of the community

One day soon I'll graduate from 1:72 planes, but they are so cheap to buy I don't mind completely messing them up

Jimmy,
welcome to the forum. What era are you interested in? 1/72 has a huge following, not only the cheap end, but much more expensive models. I normally make 1/48 aircraft, but go to 1/72 if a model ain't made in 1/48 - particularly some of the more obscure aircraft!

Jimmy, Welcome to the group. Nothing wrong with 72nd scale. I work in 87th and love it.
Lots of after market details available so have fun and start a thread!
Cheers, Rick H.
