My intention was to build a 1/350 ship like the Tirpitz as I've always liked building those. Some of the Japanese ships are really nice but too expensive IMO, especially with Tamiya. Or I could go for a tank as something I wouldn't normally do. But which one ?

I don't want it too simple so any suggestions if I don't go for a ship ?

Not too simple as in: a lot of detailed parts to put together, or not too simple as in: a lot of work to ensure the parts actually go together and/or correct mistakes in the kit? :smiling3:

Thinking about it I’m going to delay the tank. Whilst I do prefer the as new approach to my finished planes with tanks I’m thinking differently.

Yes, I could leave the tank all shiny but looking at various YouTube videos I like the dirty, rusty look and want to do that. Maybe not too heavy but before I get a load of pigments and so on I want to get practiced, in general, with modelling. So maybe a few more aircraft an ships first. Personal choice I know but when I do tanks I want to do it right, for me
