After some delays due to 1) holidays, and 2) a conscious decision to slow riiiight down near the finish, to ensure I didn't make any last minute impatience-driven mistakes (I did with my last bust), this is now completed. I'm very pleased with it!
You can find the build thread here.

Amazingly beautiful, Paul.
I'm wondering if that truculent facial expression is due to him being a vicious and ferocious fighter or to the headache caused by his headgear... :upside:
Sorry,... the bust is a real masterpiece! :thumb2:

That, Paul, is most excellent.
The cold menacing stair that he has just say keep out of my way and we'll be fine.
A very different portrait of a very different warrior. I like it a lot.

By the way, did you know that in Indian culture people with green eyes are almost all looked upon as magical or evil...demonic and all that.

Thanks all, you're very kind.

Andy, that turban does look uncomfortable, doesn't it?

I didn't know about the association of green eyes with malevolence in some cultures, Ian - it certainly fits with the ruthless reputation of the Nihang.

Truly exceptional Paul. Everything from face and skin tones, through fabrics to the metals is top drawer. Got to be said though, that’s still very eccentric headgear ;)

You might call it eccentric headgear, Tim, but I'd advise you don't say it to his face. The Nihang were the irregular, fanatical, doped-up shock troops of the Sikh Empire, after all.

In his prime, he'd've killed you just with that stare.

Wow! Another flawless composition Paul, the head attire looks amazing and the beard looks outstanding, like how you've layered it very much!

10/10.
