Hi all

Not the best of sculpts, but they painted up OK and look the part. The photo colours are slightly off as well. It’s my fault for being lazy and using the green background. Sorry!

On to the Wizards......
Radogast the brown, when he was younger, and frankly not as eccentric......

Lastly, the big banana. Unfortunately I’m not very happy with this one, the pose came out looking awkward and the yellow was a nightmare.....the face and the bottle were very successful though...

Well, that’s it for now. ST group build oddity next, and then a large scale viking comission build for a workmate of a friend.
Cheers
Tim

Not often you see rats Tim?? Lovely bright colours on the figures. Great work all round my friend
Many thanks Steve, glad you like them. Rats are one of the random encounters generated in the rules, so are needed in fair numbers. I’ve got wolves, bears and wild boar to do as well..
Thought this one had sunk almost without trace to be honest......

Great stuff Tim, up until the shot with the dropper bottles they were very good but when you see them in a position we all automatically compute(hope that makes sense) they take on a whole diffrent persona? Brilliant Tim when can we see some more its made me think twice now about just walking past the local games shop Dave.

Hi Dave. Glad you like them. I have posted quite a few now, so have a look at my back catalogue if you want to see others. There will be some more later, but I have a couple of other projects on the go at present......
These are not from the high street, by the way, they are from a company called “Northstar”. They make quite a few figures in several genres, but the Frostgrave and Oathmark plastic sets are very good value. If you are after something more historical, try Perry miniatures or Victrix miniatures. Their plastic ranges are also excellent.....

Hi Chris. It’s hard to know where to start with a question like that LOL, it’s a huge field....
There is an almost infinite number of ways to game with figures, from the very large table (20 foot by 6 foot) with thousands of figures, to the really small (2 foot square) with half a dozen figures, but the premise is usually the same. You decide what period you want to play, historical, fantasy, land, sea, air, etc..... Find a rule set you like (again there are hundreds, from large scale, to small scale, and complex to simplistic), and paint/base your troops and scenery as required by the rules. Set these out on a suitable table, then play the game according to the rules. Random factors are introduced by the use of dice or cards, or other means are used. Usually you play against an opponent, but again there are many variations. You and the opponent can play against the game (a cooperative game), against the game and each other, just against each other (head to head), or as part of a larger group game with other people. You can also play solo if you are a Billy no mates, or in lockdown......
To get a visual idea, look at any YouTube video by ”The two fat lardies”. They do very good instructional videos for their historical rule sets.
Hope this helps....but it probably just confuses the issue....
