Scottie, you're doing brilliant so far that you don't need to hide the figure in the shadow. There's nothing to hide...put some light to it and we will help anywhere we can which I'm assuming you might not need.

So far squinting and straining my eyes it doesn't look too bad.

Cheers,
Richard

Figures are looking good. Hopefully with a little more light we will be able to see him in all his glory. How many figures are you planning to do mate??

Why on earth would you hide those in the shadows? They both look great to me.

Hi Scottie
Figures are better than good. Figures always add so much and these will be the icing on the dio.

Thanks guys really happy you like them and appreciate the kind words. I still need a lot of practice but hopefully they will improve over time. My big problem is getting the paint thickness right.

The base is now finished and can be found in "Stews ready" thanks for all the support and humour along the way. I hope you like the finished result.

What a great shame this blog and build has come to an end. I have really enjoyed watching this dio come together to such a high standard. Its all finished well with the figures. Will nip over and see the finished build. Well done mate

You need to come down to Devonshire and repair some of our granite walls on the moor LOL. A fine piece of block work. Very impressed with the pointing. Good luck painting that LOL
Steve, when I lived at Gulworthy just outside Tavey, I was serving at Bickliegh Bks then. in my spare time I used to repair those granite. walls on Dartmoor. I was born just outside Chagford on the North Moor.
I miss the moors a lot.

Hi Mike

Nice to see you posting back on the forum again. I hope you are feeling better now. Gulworthy is a nice part of the world. I go past Bickleigh Brks often as a cut through to Endsleigh Golf Club. I am infact parked up having my break at Lympstone. I take it you had to do the assault course back in the day?? Speak soon and good luck with the motorcycle build.

Steve
