I understand, but I still think you are pretty unique!!

Well, not unique!

I have a 'stash' of one, and that's for the BoB group build.

Similar to Barry, I tend to build 1/32 scale aircraft, and they are usually a bit on the dear side.

There's always an exception that proves the rule, Steve........... ;)
But I am impressed, and I am trying to restrict myself at the moment. I have a couple of very grand schemes planned and if I buy anything else they just won't get done.
And they always take a lot longer than you expect.
Got to get that bl**dy highlander done!

Barry. If it has to be WWII then, have you ever built an IL-2? I'd love a go at one of them.

I still like my Su-27 option though. I'd love to see one done in digital camo

Not the era you are looking for but how about an A10- Warthog. An iconic aeroplane that has seen more camouflage options than you could shake a stick at.
Something not quite as wide but with a fair length F104 Starfighter.
HpH models do a rather nice Walrus mkI

Lots of great suggestions, thank you all.

My stash should be enough to get me through to Telford (if it happens...) then I will go on a shopping spree. I will bear in mind all your suggestions, keep them coming!!!

They do.

I looked at that Walrus, and their Me 410, and their de Havilland Hornet a while ago, but looking was as far as it got. They all come in at well over 200 quid, which is almost double what I'm generally prepared to pay for a kit.

HpH do some unusual subjects, I remember a Ta 154 at almost 250 quid, as well as a load of Russian stuff, but they will empty your wallet quicker than the kids on a trip to the seaside :smiling3:
