Thanks guys!
Well, it seems this model was shelved in
march because of other projects
,
but this week I managed to spend some time on the bench and got it finished!
The kit had very little detail, so I used some oil paint to simulate fabric surfaces...
I painted a
red and
green navigation light, and also drilled some small holes to mount the antenna wires...
I used 'Vallejo Aluminium' to add some painted chipping effects.
Maybe it's a bit too much but I always get carried away during this step
The 'ring & bead' and canons were painted black and the landing gear hatches were glued in place.
I started gluing the antennas in the small holes with super-glue, this is a thin plastic sewing thread from the local warehouse.
When the glue was dry I stretched the wires and finished the antenna setup,
The antenna setup for the British was a bit different from the American plane, so I had a hard time figuring out how it was rigged...
And with the antenna in place the model is finished
I will add some more pictures in the finished section

Thanks for reading & Stay safe!
