I’m not a figure painter, but I’m going to give this a go.

It needs some filling and sanding before I can start painting.

Thanks For the interest Peter, I’m not sure who the manufacturer is. I got it off EBay. But if you look for 1/16 120mm ww2 WWII British soldier/infantry with enfiled. You may know or find out who it was.

Hi Ian

the sculpter looks to have given up when he got to the arms - the few creases that are there are not very convincing

will you be doing some rectification?

Looks like he will need some work before the paint flies - mould line down his face, no thumb, pin holes, rifle muzzle

It kinda reminds me of Verlindens 120mm british infantryman ww2.Maybe the seller done some re.sculpting on it.Certanly looks Verlinden ish.

Just a quickie mate; the straps on the anklets were leather, not webbing, and more often than not were black boot polished rather than Blanco'd. Will give you a little more visual interest with the brass buckles becoming more prominent!
