Hell, that's too big to call a gap. Any chance you can stretch the fuselage a touch ?

If I'd widened it any more the cockpit wouldn't have fitted in Colin
Got the gaps filled now, just waiting for the glue and filler to dry properly before i start sanding it down

You certainly have some real issues there. I will follow this one closely Ian and as Alan says you will certainly deserve a 'beverage' after!!

I nearly bought this kit years ago because of the box art (and it's a 190). Quite chuffed i didn't now :tongue-out2:

But Ian you're doing a grand job wrestling it into a good looking kit

Its not a pretty site at the moment Ian, but once the primer is on it will be okay. Looks like this one put up a bit of a fight?

I've never primed my builds. If i may ask? What is the reasoning behind it. I can understand for alclad painting but normal painting i don't. Is it the same reason?

But other then that. Looking good Ian.

With using all the extra plastic and filler to fill the gaps in the wings, the primer helps you see Just how good the joint is.

Hi Ian
Just had a catch up. Those wing gaps were terrible. Good for you getting them sorted - I think I may well have given up. The primer doesn't look to have shown up any nasties so hopefully the painting will be more straightforward than the build.

Got the blue painted, but does anyone know what the colours are on top. I’ve got the black green it’s just the other colour.
I’ve also got the fuel tank and wheels done.

If it's saying RLM 70 then the other one will be RLM 71. But i would have thought an A8 would have been RLM 74/75

You know what Ian i am looking through my references at the moment and i'm stumped. Schwartgrun (RLM 70 black green) and dunkelgrun (RLM 71 dark green) are the two colours i have written down but i always thought it was a green and grey scheme. Hmm. Let me get back to you, unless someone else (Stona) gets back first.

RLM 74 (Graugrun grey green) and RLM 75 (Grauviolett grey violet) are the other two i was thinking of
