Nice choice Ian. You could do the GR7 here and the FA2 for the Fleet Air Arm SIG build starting May. That way you won't get Harrier'd out :smiling3:

Nice start indeed. It's funny to see how different manufacturers make the same model. Hasegawa jet nozzles are one piece and the whole cockpit is separate.

The pilots sure sit high in those later Harriers. Nice job Ian.

Very nice Ian. I think the Harrier could get close to being a favourite in the model making fraternity. Just a beautiful looking aircraft. The Fleet Air Arm museum had an early one one hanging from the ceiling when I visited some time back. A great read is Commander "Sharky" Ward's experience down in the Falklands.

Just got an Email from Airfix informing me that the front glass part 116 is no longer available with it being an old kit 2010 and they can't get the part

That is pathetic Ian.

While this company is getting better with their products their customer service is awful. Typical problem with my Merlin Helicopter which must have 25 or 30 clear bits. Every piece had a fault. In the end they were fed up (as I was) with my grumbling and I now have 9 sets of clear parts non of which are much better than the original. Asked when they were having a re run of the parts and they said it was not envisaged. That is great as the Merlin is one of their prestige pieces or at least that is their opinion.

I would have another go Ian just not good enough.

Laurie

If they forgot to put the part in and cannot replace I would ask for a refund.
