Ok you panzer guy's and gal. What's the best yellow colour to get for the sandy yellow colour for this. Acrylic any help would be appreciated

I'm thinking you'd usually use Vallejo Model Air Ian? Iraqi Sand 819 is a good colour for Dunkelgelb (RAL 7028). 


Alternatively Tamiya XF 60 dark yellow, cut with XF 78wooden deck tan in a 50:50 mix works well too. The dark yellow on its own is a bit too dark IMHO.

for me I use desert yellow,with Iraqi Sand say 70 to 30 ,then just add more Iraqi Sand to lighten it down, :smiling3:

Well I've got most of this put together now and painted. I've also done the Mammoth decaling for this build.


So now it's time for the colour modulation and weathering.

Ian i am building the late version of the same kit and nice it is too with very crisp details so i will watch yours  with interest

Just caught up on this ( still trying to get used to the ( new site ) but these production shots look exceptional ( I really like the way your doing the paintwork. Really cracking efforts on this 


need to really find some me time to get on with my jagdpanzer( don't want to disappoint.

Well I've slowly been plodding along with this one, I've got most of the things on the upper hull. I've knocked the telescopes off though I will put them back on when I've finished it. I've also weathered the underside and put the wheels on and started the tracks. Still plenty to do.

looking good Ian,nice work with the spear tracks,and the lower hull,the exhaust grill looks very nice,good job so far, :D
