Yep, agree Scottie, the March can still get the hairs up on the back of my neck after fifty odd years! Oh, and while we’re at it, I still think Aloysius Parker is one of the great comic creations as well.....

Hope you don't mind me blundering in here, but Chris's post had me looking into the dusty recesses of my record collection. I'm sure this isn't the one you referred to Chris, but it's a gem.

My favourite bit is where Parker hurts his back struggling with all Lady P's suitcases and needs to get it treated with some 'horse linament'.

It's dated 1965 which would have made me three - I've had it for as long as I remember.

Apologies for the thread hijack... back to the build....

Nick

If anyone has an original stereo version of the “Thunderbirds are go“ film soundtrack LP in excellent condition, look after it. It’s worth well over 100 to collectors.

Steve, the art for TB two also shows the mobile platforms that were used to get Fireflash down.......obviously not a successful design was fireflash
BUT Tim fireflash was ok an if i remember rightly the cockpit was in the tail section wasnt it an it was only in trouble because that dastly hood put a bomb on it

Supercar
Fireball XL5
Stingray
Thunderbirds
Captain Scarlet
Joe 90
UFO ( live actors )
Terrahawks

Sad, that I should remember all these!
Dave

Funnily enough, I remember four feather falls (a western) but have no recollection at all of supercar. Oh, and as I wore glasses early on I HATED Joe 90........

With it being a toy type kit I’ve had to fill the hole were the wings operating switch would sit.

And I think I’ll have to get a Tiger moth too.

Dave, you missed Space 1999 (Eagle transporters!) between UFO and Terrahawks. And then there's Space Precinct (best, theme, ever!), which has never had any kits made from it, though it would only be flying cop car

Wait, Ian, you took out the wing working feature!? Noo! BTW, does the kit contain the very spindly undercarriage in the kit?

Hmm, now I have to build my Fireflash - yes, the most dangerous airliner ever flown...

Hi Chris, no there’s no undercarriage at all so I’m going to scratch it, and I couldn’t have the wings opening and closing with the undercarriage fitted.
