just going to park this here ready for when we kick off the GB

im not much of a plane builder, always struggle with a few aspects of it so i dont really want to go out and spend money on something if i dont have to lol

looking through the stash i only have 2 things that are suitable, and i want to save the Hurricane for another time so it will be this little fellow..........picked up for a whole quid as it was included with a newspaper.....mail or the mirror as i remember, as long as you bought it from wh smiths........must have been about 2 years ago........kit went in one hand and the paper went in the nearest bin!

pretty certain ive got a Hataka paint set that covers WW2 RAF schemes

its a 610 Sqn bird flying out of Biggin Hill in July 1940.....so definatly at the sharp end of the battle

hopefully cos its 'new tool' it wont give much in the way of problems

You'll have to let us know if Airfix put a bl**dy crowbar in the door! They keep doing it, despite the fact that no BoB Spitfire had a crowbar fitted.

I think I'll have to remove one from my Revell effort too.

Cheers

Steve

Just looking over the sprues in Khadens, looks a dream, really defined panel lines, hopefully it'll fall together for him.

And no crowbar........
And I've just noticed the kit wheels for undercarriage down are weighted, I may forgive Airfix for the Hawk yet.......

Paul, you will have no problems whatsoever with this kit.
I built it for last years Starter G.B. It went together like a dream.

I think you are doing really well, considering aircraft aren't your thing. At least it still looks like a Spitfire :smiling5:

Strange is that, Paul.
Mine went together like a dream. No filling or 'owt!
Yours must have been a 'Friday Poets' moulding.
