Time to throw my hat in the ring.
This one of the obscure scales from Heller it's a nice kit but the decals are a tad on the thick side hence why I am doing Trulli as I did start on a Alonso version.
Comes complete with driver and seatbelts but sadly lacking an engine.
I have made a tiny start but polux gave me the OK to enter it.P1040882.JPGP1040881.JPGP1040879.JPGP1040880.JPGP1040876.JPGP1040878.JPGP1040877.JPG

Finally got round to making a start along with the parts already started I have painted the four brake discs and put some decals on the rear wing but they are so thick they are almost useless even microsl doesn't touch them,P1040898.JPGP1040899.JPG so if anyone knows where I can source some better after market one's let me know.

Looking good, Pete. 1/18 is an oddball scale, I wouldn't think there were many AM suppliers. I've never seen a Heller large scale F1 car, the ones I remember were the 1/43 Lotus, Ferrari & McLaren ( probably were more ), which were pretty good models, pity they've vanished!

I am going to shelve this one as I have tried five times to put the rear suspension together and have got more frustrated each time so it's now back in the stash in favour of a revell McLaren.

Peter,
commiserations - sometimes you have to accept that this is a hobby, not a penance. I've lost count of the models that have been 'retired' due to mounting blood pressure!
