Well done Pete.
The only thing you can say is that I had ago and it didn't fall off. The good news is I've got new glasses so this in the box and I can finish the Kangaroo at least I can finish it before Christmas.
Pete.

I'd love to have a go, but think it might be a little to much .

Hi his is just my opinion and my first attempt at metal tracks but Fruil tracks are to time consuming I get the cleaning up part which I've done but drilling 1,344 holes for the wire is a joke, spent most of the day on them and only half finished on one side and have given upon them and are in the bin never again .
Will stick to rubber band tracks.
Pete.

Pete,
They can be a chore but the way I do it is to do a few at a time then set them aside and do something else. Dig them out they are worth it in the end.

Got all the parts in primer, when I paint this one in the new year I'm going to try some contrast painting between the wheels and lower hull with lighter wheels and darker lower hull.
Also use a slightly darker colour on the sides and lighter on the top surfaces.
This has become a test vehicle now.

Added a few more little details after the initial priming, drilled out the end of the mud guards support rods, tool clamps/brackets from copper wire and white card.

Pete, I've been following along and this is quite a bit more than just a test vehicle. I really think you have done a great job with the details and all the extra equipment you've added. If the glue stain on the roof bothers you, it's an ideal place for an Ariel recognition flag. Cheers, Rick H.

Hi Pete black and grey or brilliant, green and beige a bit wishy-washy really need two coats, I've used the grey as a base coat and know one noticed (they do now) would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Thanks for following along Rick the mark on the roof doesn't show now the primer on,as for the rest of it, it's nothing special that anyone else could have done.

Hi back to the test vehicle, got some different greys for Christmas so started by painting four different coloured prime's on to white card three being Stynylrez Grey, White, Black the fourth one is Mig One Shot Brown Oxide.
I've then painted ten different shades of grey across each primer to see if there was any difference there is some.
The main thing is I can see all the colors together and now can choose and go from dark to lighter IE top to bottom also from the sides, wheels to inner lower hull to try and cause shading/shadow.

Paints and test card.

Test card, primers on the left and coming across the ten Vallejo Model Colour used it's the colour not the actual finish I was after, all done with her stick.
