Finished at last! A nice kit to build but with a few traps for the unwary/inexperienced - some of which I fell for!

The biggest disappointment was those webbing nets on each side behind the front doors, which just don't look like webbing to me.
Here it is alongside the Warrior from the same Operation Herrick series:

Hi Pete
That is a very nice result. Things like the webbing nets are always going to be difficult to replicate in styrene.

Peter, nice, bet your glad you painted lots of those parts on the sprue, it looks quit a complex build to me and to paint some parts when on would have been very hard. Well done .

Thanks John, I really should have painted more parts on the sprue - very glad I stopped building to paint when I did!

Well done Pete

Small point - the mg's look far too silver rather than black of the real thing

The moulded netting looks like it would benefit from replacing with masking tape

Thanks Simon. I did have them black, and was going to highlight some moving parts in gunmetal, but I got carried away! I'd thought about replacing the netting with tape, but couldn't get it to stick to itself well enough for my ham-fisted handling, so left it.
