Managed to get some airbrushing done, but missed a few patches on the hull.
I'm quite pleased with the tracks, which were brush painted with a mixture of the Humbrol 53 included in the kit, and a couple of drops of Vallejo brown to make it more like a manganese steel colour. Should look OK with washes on. Now to clean those wheels up and paint the rubber.
Thanks Steve. Plodding on, but wheels that don't fit mean a lot more handling, so although I painted them all before fitting I'll have to do them again with a brush when they're all on. Should've dry fitted before painting of course.

Not really enjoying this any more. I thought I'd been clever by using a black paint marker for the rims of the road wheels, but it mostly rubbed off when opening out the holes in the wheels to fit on the axles, so went over them with the Humbrol 33 included in the kit. Also added the track guards, and brushed a couple of coats of NATO green on the hull and turret.
Just need to paint the tools then it can dry overnight and then have a gloss coat before decals and washes.

Decals are on:
The stars look pretty bad here (this was last night), but they've settled quite well after a liberal dosing of Micro Sol, and have had a gloss coat, so a little weathering is planned for tomorrow.
Hi Pete
Missed the start - sorry. Just had a catch-up. I am not surprised this has sapped your mojo. Lots of difficulties to overcome but it really looks good now. The turret looks fine and the barrel looks ok in the photos. I look forward to the the weathering.
Jim
A little weathering and a matt coat, and I'm calling it finished. Here it is on Salisbury Plain (from Google Earth):
On to the next one - Revell's 1/72 Leopard.
