A terrific choice for the GB Pete. Not seen one before so I will look forward to seeing how you tackle it. Looks like you have quite the following all ready so I shall snuggle up next and enjoy the ride. Good luck

Hi have done a bit more.
Had a look at the hull and as how our all knowing oracle/guru "doesn't really have anything important wrong with it".
Well I've put some of the missing details on.
Added 49 rivets per side and 10 bolt heads for the rear idler mount.
Measured out position for the rivets.

Hi got the all the mods to the bogie units done.

Added 3 nuts/studs to bootm of the units. (it should have 6 but you can't see the top 3 so haven't them)
" 2 rear skid bolts.
" 2 front skid bolts.
" 2 top roller bracket bolts
" 2 rear roller bracket bolts (it should have 4 bolts but you can't see the top 2 bolts so haven't them)
Drilled the 4 front roller bracket bolt holes and the 2in the top.
Thined down the return skid.

Started work on the interior.

Removed the M7 gun mount and the floor finger holes to the excess hatches.

Cracking detail work Pete. I'd love to be working at that kind of level one day.

Do you have a tool for making the rivets & bolts? I often wonder how you guys do it.

Pete apologies for intruding on your thread.

Andy - believe most use a punch and die set to punch out small circles of plasticard
Ah, thanks.

I wondered if you chaps were cutting slices off styrene rod or something like that. Punching out sounds more feasible.

That’s the method that used to be used before the widespread availability of modellers’ punch-and-die sets (and probably still is by people who don’t have one).

Sorry I'm late, took the wrong exit.
Nice introduction on the beast, those photos reminded me off the Annual Rabble Outing to Margate, when Steve lost his trousers ( least said about that the better )
Pete, beautiful work, glad it's passing muster !
I'll sit at the back, brought my own biscuits.
