Hi I'm putting this one on hold for a while I've hit a brick wall with it so it's back in the box just for the time being.
Pete.
Pete,
That's a pity mate you were going great guns with this. So what are you tempting us with next?

Hi Paul just couldn't get into this one at the minute I thought it was safer to put it back in but it will be back.
You won't have to wait long to see what I'm going to try and do next.

Pete,
Looking great mate.
Cheers Paul at the moment it's looks a major mess to me because there nothing there if you know what I mean, no turret just a hole.
It's needs paint and quick.
Pete.

Small update.
All stowage, suspension bogies and detail painted done, thought I would try out the new equivalent to Klear.

Hi John we will find out when I put on the dull coat this is all new to me I never used to seal all my models I've only found out recently that you could brush klear on aIways thought it had to be sprayed, as for the stowage the three at the front and the two big sacks at the back are Value Gear the rest from spares box.

Hi thought I'd carry on experimenting I'm trying out the Klear which Paul generously supplied to me it has a milky look to it it I'll only put it on the bottom of the tank.IMG_20191207_095558209.jpg
We'll have to wait and see.

Hi I've finished experimenting with all these clear coats this was the result of the test above.IMG_20191207_154440276.jpg
I would say that transparent Klear the original is the best followed by by the Klear (wax) the milky one and the new Pledge which replaces the original Klear last all very good but this is what I found you might find different results and mine were all brushed not sprayed.
I'll put some pictures up once I've put the dull coat on.
Pete.

Pete,

Interesting results re - the Klear, looking at the piccies, I would be tempted to try the "Revive It" (Brown label) through airbrush - just as a coat prior to decals.

Paul.
