It is very odd how members of the cloth seem deeply interested in mostly railways and steam engines ? I know of railway layouts that are buried deep in church buildings and steam traction engines cluttering up the grounds ! one exception to this was the Rev F.Callon who appears to have taken to aeromodelling in the fifties and had many articles published at that time,he did a series for the younger aeromodeller in particular whereby he went through all of the stages to get the model flying, right up to how to go about repairs to the model.

One thing is for sure his knowledge for the subject shines through and the desire to help others commendable.

I wonder what happened to him ? as the articles seemed to fizzle out in time, but he made his mark as a Pioneer hence his inclusion here !
