Looks really nice from the pics,when using older decals I like to spray them with a decal bonder. Several are available ,just remember you have to be real careful to trim them close as the film wo'nt just be on the image. Hope that helps and keep building! cheers Trey

Nice Cub! I can't tell that you had trouble with the decals, from the pics you have provided they look good to me.

Just for interest, the US Army called the "militerized" J-3 Cub an L-4 Grasshopper.

The Piper PA-18-108 was called the L-18-c , it is similar to the one I fly in US ARMY markings.

As another bit of info about the L-4, it was the plane that claimed the last ariel victory in the ETO. The crew shot at a German Fieseler Storce and brought it down . Landed and remdered the injured crew first aid....how is that !
