Morning all,

My current primer of choice is the Mr Hobby/Color range which I use through an air brush.

I was wondering do any of you pre thin the primer and store or mix as you go along?

Mostly I tend to use primer as I go along, never really had to 'thin' it down, straight out of the bottle usually works for me, (other folk will have different ways they use primer though) but if I do need to thin it a bit and inevitably 'mix' more than I need for the job in hand I tend to pop it in a sealable bottle and keep it for the next job, but I don't tend to leave it too long before I use it up..

I use the Mr Color lacquer primers and yes, I usually keep a pre-thinned bottle to hand. Saves messing around if I only want to do a small part or two or spot prime a seam line.

Mine have been sat unused for over a year and had settled a lot but they've stirred back up fine.

I use Mr surfacer 1500, black or grey thinned at 50/50. Never had enough left to keep!
