Hi Richard
Already interesting and although some of the tools are pricey most are cheap and easy to source. In your posts you mention a couple of scales - 1/12th and 120mm. Now I can understand fractional scales, 1/12, 1/35 etc but could you explain how to figure scales expressed as mm.

Bit concerned about Richard now. The post I replied to has been deleted? Anyone know what’s going on?

I was looking forward to this thread. Always helpful to pick the brains of an expert. I hope things get sorted.

I found this Jim:
https://laurell.today/layouts/120mm/ said:
120mm scale is a bit like G scale, in the sense that is more of a range of scales. The name comes from that the figures are 120mm in height, but since makers measures differently, sometimes from eye level and sometimes at top of the hat.., they differ from about 1:15 to 1:18 in ratio.
Hope Richard is fine?

I can answer the figure scale question in detail if needed, but right now I’m more worried about Richard so don’t want to clog up this thread.

Hi Richard
I suffer with depression as well, so know exactly what you mean. The only advice I can give is to continue to communicate with friends and relatives, seek medical advice and take it, and ensure you do at least one positive thing a day. Some days just getting up, having a shower, and making the bed is as much as you can manage. If that is what you manage, see it for the win it is!
Hope it improves soon Richard.
PM me if you need to talk off line.
cheers
Tim
