That looks a nice kit Richard. Small but deadly in the right hands ;)

I have only seen one of these tanks close up and you don't realise how small they are but as Patrick says very dangerous in the right hands. I also like the Mg on the periscope which was an inovitive idea at the time

This is going to look very special when built and painted

Lovely kit

Regards

Just a warning to anyone with this kit in their stash check carefully that you have been provided with all the poly caps their needs to be 4 large and 4 small poly caps this box only had 4 small caps 2 for drive sprocket 1spare and 1 for close defense machine gun had to dig in spares boxes for poly caps that would fit with a bit of modification on the gun barrel base

well its funny how you do mention this Richard,

As my box was missing the poly caps,or I was thinking well were did i put them, looked,

for hrs in ever nook and carny ,but no poly caps,to be found,:eek:

so after sitting and looking at it for a bit, well the only thing, not having spares

was to fill the wheel with silicon, and let set for a day, ;)

I think I spent an entire day on my hands and knees checking the area I model for the poly caps thinking they had hit the deck, apart from some parts for the spares boxes had no luck

The Hetzer is now all together just awating on the metal barrel and she will be ready for primer and paint

Thats because it is Poundshop Primer :D

it was a toss up between the Halfords stuff or Poundland and Poundland was closer.

Should be able to get a fair crack at the Disc Camo this weekend

I'm a great advocate of Poundshop primer! It's cheaper than the Halfords stuff ml for ml & just as good.

Having said that, I'm keen to try the unpronounable primer coz it means less overspray.

I have tried the Stynylrez Primers they are great definately less overspray I used them straight from the bottle into the Airbrush.

Like using the Poundshiop stuff for AFV's and shall probably use it on some of the 1/24th models I have in my stash as coverage should be quicker from can and 1/24 wont fit in spray booth

Upadte on progress over the weekend given the Hetzer a base coat of DunkelGelb and masked of the areas to remain then given a coat of DunkelGrun next is to sprat teh RotBraun using the pieces of yellow card to create masks.

Then just to paint and attach the spare tracks, tow cable and close defense machinegun
