I have had this kit for an age and managed to find some time to start it, amazingly i have pressed on after my last couple of shacks trudged on i had wondered if i would ever start any of the bike kits iv been hoarding but i have made a start …
over the last 3 weeks iv just about completed the rolling chassie ok iv not put it together but all the parts are assemblied ready to build.

then i will tackle the body work not much bothered about the build but the paint and masking is a bit of a mind bender, confident once i start it will be ok….
all this at the same time i started a 1/72nd dakota i will post this on the other forum pages pic’s of progress
thanks for looking simon 04C05D0F-4D60-4A83-BA90-90B6ACE143E6.jpeg336ADB71-07AF-42A2-B528-26034DA4B86F.jpeg92E6960D-4492-4B4B-A1EA-4D55F93CEAF6.jpegB88EFBB8-B731-49C7-BA98-469D75F4BEBD.jpegVA42654F1-5368-40BD-AD91-D17CBE2D7D56.jpeg336ADB71-07AF-42A2-B528-26034DA4B86F.jpeg92E6960D-4492-4B4B-A1EA-4D55F93CEAF6.jpeg6F7E6783-7420-489C-86FF-2C1C71EA4564.jpegFB464BDE-EEC9-4C81-B81C-2CDCFBA9041A.jpeg4C91F51C-DAFC-4419-8D09-D51C0F8C0F89.jpeg

Looking very good. :thumb2:

Don't worry about the masking, the masks that come with the kit are very good.

Fantastic work Simon. Looks like the aftermarket front fork suspension is worth the effort as well.

Looks great Simon. I have the same kit in the stash so I’ll be following this build with interest. The wheels and engine parts look well done and the turned brass front forks look worth the investment (I have the upgrade forks too). You’re doing a cracking job keep up the excellent work.

Yep would recommend they really set it off. And a very simple up grade add, i also cut the standard brake and clutch cylinder reservoir off And replaced it with clear sprue look the part as well
