the not the quality of the kit that appeals.....ive already got an unbuildable Revell Mog in the stash that one day will end up as a bashed up 'technical;......its the subject mater...im a big fan of the Dakar

Hi Gavin, Ian, some of the issues im having with this build are....


No locating pins/lugs for front springs need to guess the position for them & hope front axle will locate correctly.


Spare wheel & carrier supplied, but spare wheel not to be used as no Tyre for it.


Bushes fitted inside of wheels to allow wheels to rotate to loose, & wheels are then floppy & look ready to fall off.


Nice big Chunky tyres which the wheels just Fall through so tyres will not stay on wheels,


Cab glazing is only the windscreen & door 1/4 windows.


Front axle tie rod fouls bottom of engine & stops the engine sitting on front mounting.


Rear axle tie rod had to be removed to allow fitting of rear anti-roll bar.


I am sure there will be more issues the further the build goes on... :sad: :sad: :sad: :sad: .

That is down right infuriating, when it becomes a nightmare to build!!:mad:

Hi Gavin, have come close to binning it a few times LOL..


Working on the cab & rear bodywork now & things are going along a bit better with these :smiling3: .


Hoping it will look good when finished, & will make up for all the Frustration it as caused me LOL...
