Revell 1/25 Shelby GT 500 - My 5th Model

Took a bit more time on this one than my previous 4 rushed models! Could probably of still spent more time on it, but anyway....

Still got a couple of little bits that I'm going to try and perfect when I get chance, but I think it's in a pretty good state =)

The matt black body work was inspired from a BMW that I saw on an M62 service station a while ago, and I decided to stay away from the traditional double stripes. (The stripes came as decals and from my past experience, larger decals can be a bit awkward) The yellow is humbrol matt lemon.

Just realised, flicking through the photos, what I've forgotten to do - the window edges. I'll do this in Satin black and post an updated photo :P

Hi Curtis, I am not much of a model car enthusiast but your build is very clean. That matt black finish has to be very rare on a Shelby?

Hi Joe, thanks!

Yes, it probably is rare - I've never seen one anyway!
