2/3rds of the way through the belts. Not the best of fun, eyes are in need of a rest but I'm pleased with the result. Has taken several hours to do in short bursts. Still to complete the navigators/rear gunners backrest sling which has to be glued directly to the interior framework not looking forward to that one:confused:

Very, very nice work Vaughan. The harnesses look great. Reminds me of the Stuka I built some time ago - both are 2 seaters and the belt spanning the fuselage is similar.
Again, lovely work

Thanks guys. This one's a bit of a slow build, I hope to get some more done this week.

Hi Vaughan
Just had a good catch-up. Firstly I hope any health issues you had are resolved. The build is stunning. The engine is a work of art. The cockpit looks superb as does the paintwork. I'm really impressed with your neat, well considered approach.

Jim health is all good, thanks for asking, saw my consultant last month and he's happy to see me in a years time. The build is slow for me but I think it's down to time constraints to be fair.

Hi Vaughan

Have to agree with Ross , I find the Vallejo metal colour difficult to get right , but your finish looks excellent .

I till take those tips also :thumb2:

Thanks guys. I've managed to find some more time for the Arado. This afternoon I have undercoated and top coated with light olive. I have yet to start on constructing the canopy. I was hoping to buy the resin version from Ally Cat Models but it's still not in stock and it's the only one made, so there's no alternative. Anyway here's some images of where I'm up to. Still a way to go but progress is being made. It will be a year round on the 12th of April so I do need to get this one finished!!

Oh my lord, that looks good!
Keep up the stunning work Vaughan. It's great to hear that you're well and see you building again, not least because you turn out results like this!
Why the Alley Cat canopy? Is the Revell part not any good?

Cheers
