I have finally cleared a space in between my other builds so I will kick this one off it's mainly out of the box but the scheme will be the 75th Battle of Britain camouflage paint scheme as I have xtradecal set.
I haven't do a full spure shot as I would have been there all day but here's most of it20190930_125748.jpg20200110_143609.jpg20200110_143640.jpg20200110_143736.jpg

have they really done a typhoon up in these colours ?
Yep. I was lucky enough to go to the 2015 RIAT at Fairford and saw it AND the Vulcan in one of its last flights, not to mention more Spitfires and Hurricanes flying in a single formation than there has been for many a year.

Hi Pete
Iconic plane, big model, loads of parts and a really nice choice of paint scheme :smiling: I'm in for this.

Cool!, like your choice for the Typhoon a lot Peter:thumb2:.

Built a Revell 1/48th one in GiNA markings a couple of years ago, best looking scheme for a Typhoon IMHO:nerd:.

That's the one and thankfully only one seat done as it's a single seater I only have to do one but I am not a fan of moulded seat belts but as my budget is somewhat stretched it's going to have to do.20200112_152421.jpg

Good work Peter. Again, another aircraft I've never built.

And 'they' are not even on the screen they should be on, radar sweep shows clean and why are all the screens in that horrendous interior Mig cyan blue colour. On the ground they would be switched off anyway. Its not hard for manufacturers to do a quick look up on the web and find some decent images they can use. And that seat - he wouldnt be strapped into anything that would save his life.

But all said and done you are doing a great job with it OOB Peter
