I started this kit on a visit to my step sons in October and have been working on it on and off since. It has been a nice kit to build with only one issue. That being the office window sections not fitting quite right. I have given it a subtle weathering with some florys sand and black in areas where the exhuast smoke would make contact. I have used a little artistic license on the front lense cover as I was not sure how they would be covered. To me this seemed the most feesable. all the covers were done with masking fluid and then painted with vallejo cam olive.

I like the little AH-1S, and if I could ever kick this WW2 habit, I might get back into more examples of modern aircraft.

Until then I will be content to view the pictures.

Thanks guys. Andy and Ian I would put it on a base but with it as is I wont need to worry about space.

Beautiful cobra lovely paint and weathering and I like the detail in the tags. I agree a dio is needed.
