Revell 1/72 Concorde

As I have a nice big empty space on my shelf it's time to fill it with this one.
The first thing to do on the flight deck is to move the engineers station why you ask see the picture.
This is the the view from the outside.
As you can see it will interfere with the window.
And now the inside view with the station moved.
And complete.

Off and running again Peter! I do have to agree with Steve though, as you are a modelling machine and I can't see you having any space on your shelves either...........

I sold the last 1/72 concorde so it just goes in the empty space and I managed to sell a lot of old builds so I have loads of space for more.

For such an iconic aeroplane Concorde is not often seen modelled. Revell certainly got that panel slightly wrong.

It started off as heller then airfix got hold of it then it was revells turn and now its just gone full circle back to heller.

I have finished off the nose section but done away with the silly nose lowering mechanism and will be posing it with nose up but I haven't decided on having the window lowered or up.
As you can see lots of lovely filler to sand.

Well with that amount of filler you won't need a nose weight to stop it tail sitting. You're certainly getting there.
